Command+D wants to take a minute and step back and consider crime and criminals. Somewhere in these interwebs folktales are told of these criminals. This week's Command+D is in honor(?) of the men and women who have chosen to depart from the norms of our society far enough to become one of "them" the criminals and to a few who haven't broken any laws but still seem to be well beyond the norm. 1. Why hasn't this guy been locked up? Maybe because he's some sort of soccer star or something. Maybe its because he's shooting a commercial for Nike and he can do whatever the fuck he wants. Remember, commercials are above the law because they are made of pure money and money is always above the law. Still, these are some amazing shots this soccer asshole has made. Okay, okay, I would probably choose him to be on my soccer team. 2. That wasn't hard enough for you? Okay, fine! Yeah, I went there. 3. Lets get back to the limits of criminality. You would have to be crazy to call him a criminal. Perhaps back to back with #1 this may seem like a bit of hypocracy, but keep in mind that Phelps wasn't kicking bongs into the unsuspecting faces of construction and pizza-cart workers. Maybe I'm just saying that being an asshole is worse than lighting up. Discuss... 4. Here's another person who hasn't broken the law but as he says himself has chosen a life outside the social norms. I have to say I respect his right and I'm sorry for his daughter. 5. Then we have the quandary of when two different cultures claim that prominent members of the other society are actually terrible criminals. Perhaps both are right? What does this mean about both cultures? 6. And what do these dances say about our culture? Are the people who frequently appear on these shows outside the "norm?" Are they criminals? What about us, who watch and enjoy? 7. Speaking of watching and enjoying guiltily... 8. Now lets all do some penance for our voyeurism. 9. Lastly, let's all realize that some criminals do good too. 10. Then there are those who are just that special brand of crazy. We need more of these types of people in the world. Okay, who was your favorite criminal/outcast? I think it's pretty obvious who Command+D liked best... #2! Wait! I mean #10!!! Ten not two!

Come on, Eldrick.

So when is Steven Spielberg going to direct "No Whammies: The Michael Larsen Story"?

I also want to know when Sofia Copala directs, "Hurry it up, you Hoosier bastard." Or when Johnny Knoxville stars in "The Robin Hood of Greece." In the later movie, Wee Man would be the brother-in-law who breaks Knoxville out of the same prison twice with a helicopter.
