You knew it was coming. This Command D's theme is inevitable like the changing of the seasons, the rise and fall of the ocean, or the way all of my internet searches eventually lead me to porn. Of course we're not just talking about a force of nature, we're talking about the force (Luke). Yes, if ever there was a culture more ingrained in the internets than the ones we talked about last time, it may only be in the Star Wars culture. I suppose you could argue that the two aren't mutually exclusive too.
But let's not get carried away in the taxonomy of dorks here, let's just get in touch with our inner-geek. Feel the force running through you and every living thing... 1. What do you get when you combine the rampant motivational poster parodies with Star Wars? (PS - be on the lookout for an entire Command D on the motivational poster meme soon) 2. This was the premier Helmet art themed show of the season, just so you know. 3. This shit is still funny! It's also amazing that there are still some I haven't seen yet. 4. I'm sure John Williams is getting off over this, as are Gustav Holst and whoever invented floppies. 5. Since we're already borrowing from the cannon of Star Wars "art" I had to include this. 6. And this. 7. Where animals and Star Wars collide. 8. That's not a moon. 9. Worse than this realization was the second realization that he couldn't get drunk through his helmet. 10. Turns out that being moderately attractive and female doesn't exclude you from being a dork after all. ** Of course we're just scratching the surface here. Also, we should keep in mind that this degree of nerdiness goes way back to the analog days too. Before YouTube and the internet or digital video there were... hands! ** See you next week.

Come on, Eldrick.
